کنگره جهانی زنان و زایمان برگزار شد
فدراسیون بین‌المللی زنان و زایمان (FIGO)، سازماندهی این کنگره را برعهده داشت. زنان و زایمان، ناباروری، تنظیم خانواده و اصول باروری، سرطان‌های زنان، بهداشت مادر و کودک، محورهای اصلی این کنگره بودند.
پروفسور لیندا گیودیس، پروفسور هربرت پترسون، پروفسور دنیس لو، پروفسور لسلی رگان، سخنرانان اصلی کنگره جهانی زنان و زایمان بودند. همچنین متخصصان و پژوهشگران برجسته‌ای از آمریکا، آرژانتین، آفریقای جنوبی، انگلیس، دانمارک، کانادا، کلمبیا، مالزی، مصر، هند و هنگ کنگ، اعضای کمیته علمی- تخصصی FIGO2015 را تشکیل می‌دادند.
طی شش روز برگزاری بیست و یکمین کنگره جهانی زنان و زایمان، در مجموع 370 مقاله و 1044 پوستر از سوی متخصصان، پزشکان، اساتید دانشگاه و پژوهشگرانی از کشورهای مختلف از جمله آمریکا، ایران، انگلیس، پاکستان، چین، ژاپن، سوئد، عربستان سعودی، کلمبیا، کره جنوبی و هند ارائه شدند.
